Windows 10: Laptop Shutdown w/o Warning Same day/time last 3 weeks

The last 3 Saturdays between 11 am & noon, while working on it, my laptop has shut down without warning, with several programs open - what could cause this?

Laptop Switching Off Every Few Days

Hi Everyone

I am not a computer whizz but I can follow instructions and understand a bit of basic terminology!

About once or twice a week my laptop (which I use every day) switches off suddenly without warning. The last time it happened about a week ago, it restarted itself. Also about once or twice a week the area near the power button makes a loud 'POP' sound,
though not at the same time or the same day that the laptop switches off. Both of these are recent issues that have started over the past few weeks.

Could anybody please suggest what the problem might be? I can live with the popping sound but I don't want my laptop to keep restarting itself. I think it's switched off about 3 times over the past month (though not for a week now though.)

laptop shutdown

i'm using windows 10 and my laptop few days ago started to just shutdown without a warning every time when the battery is at 15% and every time it shutdown i'm unable to switch it on unless i plug in the charger . i have tried so many things plz help

• Type Troubleshooting in the search bar beside the Windows icon.
• Select Troubleshooting from the results.
• Under System and Security, select Fix Problems with Windows Update.
