    Hey Devs, I had a question regarding redeeming. I bought Minecraft: Java Edition in 2011, and I want to redeem Windows 10 Edition for free, because my account is from before 2018. I went to account.mojang.com, and looked for a "get a code" button, but it was nowhere, not even under the "My Games" section, where everyone says it is. If someone could help, that would be nice.

    Redeeming windows 10 edition of minecraft

    Hello, I redeemed a code for the Windows 10 edition of minecraft in 2017, which I was able to get from having the java edition. I have the default game downloaded on my PC, but the code did not seem to work.

    Edit: The link to redeem the code from mojang's sight brought me to the microsoft "redeem" page, but the code is listed as "already redeemed," even though this does not show up in my account page.

    Error: The code is already redeemed when trying to redeem Minecraft for Windows 10 code

    When I purchased Minecraft, Minecraft for Windows 10 was included for free with the Java version. As a courtesy, Mojang provided me with a gift code for Minecraft for Windows 10, but whenever I go to the microsoft store to redeem the code, it says that it
    has already been redeemed. I don't remember ever redeeming it. What's up?
