I don't understand (sharing files across the Win 10 network)

I hope someone, ANYONE can help.

I have 4 PCs in the Network I have. 3 main and one laptop.
For the 3 main(Rig 1, Rig 2 and Server) I am using and have an active Domain on the Win Server 16' Comp.
The Domain users (main 3) have Admin access (or should) I have a working Remote Desktop connection with Comp =Rig 1 and want to provide access to ALL functions of the Server as well as sharing files across the network. I have 3 drives shared. I have set the Admins, specific comps, Domain users, to "Full Control" but it will not allow it. I have to set "EveryOne" to full control in the Security tab of the drive for Rig 1 to have control. This should not be the case should it? I don't know what I'm missing but even when I am in the advanced Security sections but the Server will still not allow Full access/control despite it saying Rig 1 has full control.

I have read some about M$ change with build 1801 and the mishap of sharing settings but there has to be a way to do this without this much trouble

I don't know what I'm missing please advise.....

    :)

    File sharing windows 10 network

    Hi Steve,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

I understand that you are unable to see shared folders in File Explorer. I’ll certainly assist you with this.

I would suggest you to check if Network discovery is on or not. To do this, refer the steps mentioned below:

    1. Go to Control Panel > Click on
      Network and Internet >
Click on Network and Sharing Center.

    2. Click on Change advance sharing settings
      on the left pane.
    3. Select Turn on network discovery
      under Private and Guest network.
    4. Click on Save changes.

You may also want to refer the article on
