    google drive cache taking too much space

    I recently found that google drive is taking too much space (50GB) although I only made 3GB available offline.
    On my Mac and PC I had too go and delete the cache folder.
    Is there a way to avoid it? I don't have such issues with dropbox

    Hi Alexey,

    To help resolve your concern, try the following steps:

    • Delete all Temporary Files. In the search box, type
      %Temp%
      . Under the temporary folder, press CTRL+A to select all temporary files and folders, right-click and then delete all.
    • Type optimize in the search box and then select Defragment and Optimize Drives.

    3. In the Optimize Drives window, select the drive
    (CDeliveryOptimization Cache Taking Up 50gb of space :) and then click Analyze for the system to verify how big is the space that needs to be optimized.

    4. Let it run and once it's done, click Optimize. (Note: This procedure may take longer depending on the size of the used space.)

    5. After optimizing drivers, scan your PC using your antivirus program.

    Windows might have been accumulated large drive space due to installed apps, temporary files, or etc. For us to identify which item mostly accumulates your drive space, we suggest that you check it here:

    • Click on Start.
    • Type Storage, and then press Enter.
    • Under Local Storage, click on This
      PC (CDeliveryOptimization Cache Taking Up 50gb of space :).
    • On this window, you will see which item mot accumulate your drive space.

    free up drive space in Windows 10
    . Click on every drop down to view the steps.
