Windows 10: Mouse Freeze on a fresh Install

Ok guys. So I had a series of issues that led to this point, but I’ll get to it.

I have an HP Laptop. It had Windows 10 on it and I’ve used it for 3 years with zero issues.

I downloaded the install disk creation tool so I could load windows onto my Linux laptop. However, once I downloaded it, it locked up my downloads folder. Lots of troubleshooting and 4 hours of repairs suggested by Microsoft later, and still it was shit. So I decided I’d do a fresh install on this computer too.

HERE IS MY CURRENT ISSUE

I’ve got the OS installed. Fresh install. Have done nothing other than install the OS. However, the mouse freezes. Constantly. I’m using the laptop track of. So I plugged in my Bluetooth Logitech. Same thing.

I followed the Microsoft suggestions with updating drivers. No change. Reboot in safe mode, and there is no freeze. So I did a clean boot, and the problem is back.

So what is going on with Windows 10 that I doesn’t like playing with my trackpad or mouse?

Mouse Pointer in Fresh Paint

As of now, there is no option to disappear mouse pointer and turn into a dot or circle.I suggest you to use feedback inside the fresh paint app and give feedback regarding this.

Please follow the steps below:

• Open fresh paint.
• Click on hub(the three lines, in top left corner).
• Click on settings.
• Click on send feedback.

Computer and mouse freeze

Bluetooth mouse still freezes

There are multiple possibilities why a Bluetooth mouse could act up. To assist you with your concern, you can try these following steps:

Method 1:

Check if the Bluetooth mouse and its Bluetooth adapter are working properly.

• Try installing fresh new batteries.
• Try to unplug the Bluetooth adapter of your mouse and plug it back in.
• Try connecting the Bluetooth adapter of your mouse to a different USB port.
• Try to remove objects that can interfere with the signal of your Bluetooth adapter and mouse.

Method 2:

Check if you have installed all the updates on your computer. There are chances that you might get Bluetooth drivers through update:

• Go to the Start screen.
• Type Windows update and click on it from the list of results.
• Click on Check for updates on the left pane in the new window.
