Sequence of events...should be simple enough...I hope

Just finished building a new computer:
    CPU: AMD RYZEN 9 3950X
    Cooling: Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4
Motherboard: GigaByte AMD X570 AORUS MASTER
    Memory: 64Gb Ripjaws V Series DDR4 3200 SDRAM
Video Card: AORUS Radeon RX 5700 XT
    Hard Drives: 2 WD-BLACK SN750 NVMe1Tb M.2 SSD
    Audio Card: Sound Blaster AE-7
    Blu-Ray R/W: LG WH16NS40 Internal SATA 16x
Power: Corsair RM750 - Gold Certified Fully Modular
Case: Be Quiet! Dark Base 900 Full ATX Tower
And a couple of 27" Samsung curved monitors.
Now, comes the fun part. What order should I do the updates and software installation to get it to function the first time and correctly?

Motherboard BIOS update can be downloaded and there is a button on the back of the MB that allows the BIOS to be loaded without turning on the computer (I would assume this should be first). After that I have drivers and software for the MB, GPU, Audio card and PSU (complete fan and temperature integration).

And, of course the next step after the drivers and such is the mighty Win10. I have a flash drive with Win10 ISO (used media creation tool so should have installation files) as well as a license for Win10 Pro.

That being said, I have already heard that I might be looking at a problem with the fact that I have 2 M.2 drives, one of which I am going to use as my boot drive. I do know that I will need to format and partition these drives and would like to know the easiest way to do so. I have read through the threads on doing this (one was started a little over a year ago and I wondered if, since then, there had come forth a simple way to format/partition a M.2 (that has NOTHING on it, including Windows).

Outside of that, check my addition and let me know if there is an error in my order of installation, any tips or tricks to minimize the need to "go back and do it again" and any suggestions to make it so that when I throw the switch, I will be happy.

I find it fascinating that the first computer I built in 91 [486DX4-100] was no more or less complex in construction than the computers of today, just in different ways.

Thanks in advance for your help.

"Hello Windows 10, not for the first time, but for the last time."

Sequence of events...should be simple enough...I hope

Same sequence of Event ID: 7031 errors show up in my event log daily.

    Arul_D,

To perform the operation described in your reference material above:

[Event ID 7031 — Service Stop Operations]

you have to know the service name.

    ====

I have the same sequence of 4 event 7031's, each saying the source is "Service Control Manager".

I see no service or driver with a name resembling any of the following:

    • Sync Host_Session1 (service)
    • Contact Data_Session1 (service)
    • User Data Storage_Session1 (service)
    • User Data Access_Session1 (service)
    Got any troubleshooting ideas?
