    Windows 10 Laptop takes too long to shutdown


    Of late whenever I shutdown my laptop, it takes so long to completely shutdown. So when I shutdown , everything seems fine and the screen turns off, but the laptop itself is still on, implying its still shutting down. Earlier on it took only seconds before it completely shutdown, now it almost takes a century for the system to completely power off. Any help will be appreciated. I use Windows 10 Pro

    Windows 10 takes too long to shutdown/restart/hibernate

    My brand new laptop has the same issue. Takes too long to shutdown, although booting up is really fast.

    Hi the problem of my windows 10 PC is when its restart it takes too long after I update to version 1511. The shutdown process was ok but the restart process takes too much time. What should I do?

    It has been a while since my laptop takes too long to shutdown and restart (it doesn't have any issues while booting up). I've searched many forums (this and others too) and tried almost all troubleshooting steps but nothing helped me.

    I've posted a screenshot of my event viewer (there's a lot of Critical and Warning statuses).
