Windows 10: Installing Windows from Microsoft iso created disk on new Hard Drive

I am trying to install window 10 on a new hard drive - 4th attempt still stops at 1% after 3 hours- I've noticed people have been asking same question for 4 years, tried evey solution. Do you have one that works other than getting Windows 7. Why are people still so frustrated with Windows 10? Answer nothing gets improved every update causes a new problem. Wish I bought a Mac

Installing windows from usb hard drive

i repair alot of computers and install windows alot. currently i have to carry about a big cd wallet with all my disks but i use a usb hard drive just now for installing windows 7 32 because its soo much faster to install.

now my question is is there a way to put all my windows disks on the one hard drive and boot the iso i select? like a boot manager for iso files? that way i could have all my windows, linux and boot disks all one one drive rather than a load of dvds.

my only other option was a flash drive for each operating system but thats an expensive way to do it.

 

W7 Hard drive partition issue

to get rid of that 100 meg windows partition that setup creates for you on a new install on a blank hdd:

- press shift+f10 when on the partition management screen in setup <-- this opens a command prompt
- diskpart <-- start the windows command line partition management tool
- list disk <--- list the installed hdds in this computer for the next step
- select disk 0 <- might have to replace 0 with the number of the correct disk
- clean <-- this will erase all data on the disk you selected one step up- dont use the wrong disk!
- create partition primary <- creates a primary partition taking up all space on the drive, adjust the command if necessary
- exit, exit to exit diskpart and the command prompt
- click refresh in partition manager and select your newly created partition and install to that

 

Problems installing new hard drive

• Download and create an installation media (ISO) for Windows 10 form the link below:

• Disconnect the 1TB and 3TB Hard Drives and install Windows 10 on the SSD using the installation media by following the steps provided by Andre Da Costa in the link below:

• Connect the External drives (1 & 3 TB) and check for status.
