Windows 10: Basic question - how the heck can I send meeting invitations to people using the Win10...

As far as I can tell, the calendar "app" that comes with Win10 is worthless, in that while I can enter appointments, I cannot SEND INVITATIONS to others for that event.


Can you all please confirm this basic feature is lacking?


If it is there, please tell me in basic steps what we need to do to enable the feature?

Calendar App does NOT send meeting invites

I have attempted to generate meetings using my Windows Phone 8 Calendar app. However, the app does NOT send the meeting invites to the identified users. When I go to my Win 8 calendar app, the calendar entry exists and shows the invitee's with "no reply"
in the response section. If I then use the Win 8.1 calendar app invite section and <send> the message the invite goes out.

What's the deal with the Win Phone 8 calendar app that it does not send meeting invites? Why?????

 

Office 365 Calendar - Invite People To Meeting

I have noticed that when I create a meeting in Office 365, and select the People I want to invite, it will display everyone that I have received an email from/to, whether or not they are in any of my address lists. This does not occur in my desktop version
of Outlook 2016, only people in my address list will display. Is there a setting in Outlook 2016 that will show everyone like it does online?

Cannot Invite People to Calendar Meetings

Hi,

Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you that you cannot invite people to Calendar meetings.

Please let us know that steps that you have tried to resolve the issue so that we can provide you quicker resolution?

Open the Calendar app and click on any date.

Click on Event Name > Under Calendar choose the right calendar> then Click on more Details > Fill the form to invite anyone.

In the Calendar App, open the Settings icon, then click on Accounts, select your email account and then click on save. If your account is not there you can add it in plus any other email accounts you may have.
