    Port is missing after 7-15 update


    I have a Lenovo Win 10 Pro 64 bit I5 laptop computer. I have a serial to usb cable running a device called Robo Focus by Technical Innovations. The device was listed on Com 1. It worked fine until the update above. No com ports are listed until I go to hidden devices. I still do not see it even there. I am not able to remove one 7-15 update and two 8-09 updates. I have tried to assign the device Com Port 2 and 3 and the software states there is no Com Port 2 or 3 as they seemed to be open. I have used 3 cables and am not sure if they are Prolific yet get the same result. They do not seem to be recognized. I purchased today an FTDI chip set male serial to usb cable today. What is the problem? Thanks

    Printer ports missing

    Windows 10

    I have had 3 windows 10 computers with this recent problem. The printer ports list is incomplete with missing "created by me local ports" (standard ports are visible and fine). If I try to add a missing port back in the list I get a message the port already
    exists. Yet I cannot assign a missing port to a printer. Happens after a reboot from update (1903) or power outage (after 1903 update) Update 2004 does not fix the problem. ty

    Port is missing after 7-15 update

    Why did the startup window get cleared?

    I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
