Force Windows to start logging in before password is entered

Windows will sometimes start logging me in behind the lock screen when I first boot my computer, then the computer is ready to go once I enter my password. This is really convenient, but it sometimes doesn't do this. Is there any way I can force Windows to ALWAYS do this? I still want the lock screen to show up and require my password, but I want Windows to log me in in the background anyway 100% of the time.

    I'm on Windows 10 Education, version 2004.

    :)

  2. Forced to enter password to view emails

I am being forced to enter a Google password when I try to access emails on my computer. I was forced to create a new Google password yesterday on my phone, I can't remember why. I never had to enter a password to view emails before. When I enter the
new password I am forced onto a screen asking me to give Windows access to all of my accounts. I can choose Accept or Cancel, but if I choose Cancel it goes into a loop where I am again forced to input the password and end up on the same screen. I have not
been able to view any recent emails. I don't want to provide full access to my accounts. Can anyone offer a suggestion? Very frustrated not to be able to view my emails.

"You can log in to this account without entering a password"

Hi, I’m Virginia an independent advisor.

    Check this information:

To stop auto log in to your Windows 10 computer, you can follow the step-by-step guide as below. Please note that you must have all the information about the user account which you want to configure.

    2. Tap on Windows key, type cmd.exe to load the Windows command prompt.

    3. Type control userpassword2 and hit the enter key (Or you can type netplwiz which takes you to the same system tool).

    4. The "User Accounts" window will appear:

Now select the user account from the list and enable "Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer" option and click on Apply button.

    6. You are prompted to enter the account password your Windows 10 will use to sign in.

    7. That's it. Now you can login Windows 10 by entering password.

If this doesn’t work please post back.

Force Windows to start logging in before password is entered

unable to deactivate Windows log-on password

    Hi HearaldPenkert,

I suggest trying with this steps:

    • Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.

(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Search.)
    • Enter sign, and then tap or click Change sign-in options.
    • Choose the sign-in option you'd like to use, and then follow the instructions.

If you're using a local account with a password, you can delete the password to sign in without one. Try this steps:

    • Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.

(If you're using a mouse, point to the lower-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer up, and then click Search.)
    • Enter sign, and then tap or click Sign-in options.
    • Under Password, tap or click Change.
    • Verify the current password for your local account.
    • Leave the New password, Reenter password, and Password hint fields blank, tap or click Next, and then tap or click Finish.
I hope it will solve your issue.

    Bye
