    Hi,

    I have my NAS/PC/MODEM/ROUTER to a UPS which is managed by NAS. Once it goes to battery power, NAS sends an event notification to all IP's I have setup.

    How do I make Win10 PC force shutdown once this notification is received?

    How to force shutdown on laptop lid close ?

    Hi,
    I want to force a shutdown when the user close the laptop lid even if MSWord is open and the document was not saved.
    Any suggestion ?

    Win10 update causes laptop to power back on after shutdown

    I have an HP Spectre laptop, working great for more than a year.

    But after the 1803 update for Win10, SHUTDOWN or SLEEP turns off power for 5 seconds, then powers back up again.

    The only way to turn it off is to use the long press on the power button (about 10 secs).

    This is particularly dangerous as I might forget the forced-off step and put the laptop in a case for a couple of days.

    Suggestion to rollback the update is too late, more than 10 days after the update.



    Is there a way to see what changed since the last system restore point?

    Something like sorting program files by date?

    BSOD after forced shutdown

    Hello everyone,

    2 months ago i did a force shutdown because my laptop became unresponsive, when i turned it on, it blue screened, i am worried because my laptop is new, but until today it doesnt blue screen so i think it was just a one time bsod, but my question is do forced
    shutdown cause bsod? I am just really curious.
