Windows 10: Ethernet Unidentified Network

As the title says, for some reason I can't connect my ethernet cable to my pc.

I've tried multiple methods I found online but to no avail.

I don't know what to do this is frustrating as hell.

Any help?

ethernet unidentified network

my ethernet adapter says unidentified network it wont let me connect to my xbox. when I did the troubleshoot it said Ethernet 2" doesn't have a valid IP configuration so what do I do I don't know any of my ip configuration.

 

Ethernet stuck on Unidentified Network

I have been stuck on this issue for two days. My Ethernet cable is plugged into a Devolo adapter which is connected to the modem downstairs. Two days ago my Ethernet has been saying Unidentified network and says that i have a invalid IP configuration as
shown below.
