  1. Problem with windows boot option menu

    Hi all,

I'm new to the idea of dual-boot and recently installed linux ubuntu to dual-boot, but then was unable get the windows boot option menu to load when I set it as first priority in my UEFI boot menu.

I started getting issue with Windows 10, and decided to completely reinstall Windows 10, and try again with Linux Mint, but i'm now having the same issue. I can only dual-boot if Linux boots first, and if I make Windows 10 boot first, it just skips the whole thing altogether and takes me to the login page.

I decided i'd had enough of the dual-booting but now when i shift+click the restart button, it has both Ubuntu and Lintus still there, even though I deleted the partitions.

    What should I do?

Can someone help me take my laptop right back to square one and try dual-boot windows/ubuntu, but this time by accessing the Windows boot manager and not the ubuntu one?

Thank you, and sorry if that was confusing, I JUST REALLY NEED SOME HELP!!!

Feature suggestions - move to proper menus, add Options window

    Suggestions:
    1) Remove main menus from top left menu (system menu) and move them to a standard Windows menu, at the top.
Leave the 6 system menu items (Restore --- Close) in system menu, move all the rest to that standard main menu. The main menu can be auto-hidable - pressing Alt key to invoke it or hide it, similar to the way IE11 menus and many Windows 10 built-in apps' menus work.

    2) And/or, add an Options menu or button, which would invoke a separate screen with GPU-Z Options, similar to how most Windows apps work.
Most Windows apps have a separate Options screen, which GPU-Z lacks - one should be added.

    Thanks in advance for listening!

    Boot menu question

Hey guys I'm trying to run windows repair on my computer by booting my computer from the vista CD, problem is the boot menu doesn't detect my USB keyboard. Are there any options in bios that will make the mobo detect my keyboard in boot menu? I don't have an analog keyboard on hand so this problem is quite annoying. *Bang Head :banghead:

Problem with windows boot option menu

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
