Windows 10: Unwanted Notification

I foolishly gave some app permission to put notifications on my desktop, and I don't know how to get rid of them. They pop up from time to time, take up a lot of space at the lower RH corner of my screen, and can't be moved or closed. A small line of text says something about Opera, but they appear whether the Opera browser is opened or closed. How do I get rid of these ads? Runnin Version 1903, build 18362.959.

Yeah, thats not a solution she is interested in......I've suggested that course of action. Thanks though.

Just to clarify, I feel that there MUST be a step, or series of steps to turn off JUST the wireless notification sound. Thats what Im driving @ here.

Follow these steps to check if it works:

• Hide notifications when duplicating my screen
• Get tips, tricks, and suggestions as you use Windows

You may just turn them off the notification as you need.

  Select notifications and actions

  Disable all the notifications on the screen
