    Driving Force GT (steering wheel) does not work properly?


    I have a pretty old Logitech steering wheel. I've had it for a very long time, but for about a week now, after a few seconds in a game, it goes into action and gives full throttle, for example, while I can't press any other button. I have already reinstalled the drivers. Do you still have an idea/experience where the error could be?

    Logitech Driving Force GT steering wheel

    I have an old steering wheel that worked great up until I recently did a fresh install of Windows 10 ver. 1909. The steering wheel is the Logitech Driving Force GT from 2007.

    When I plug it into a USB on my PC now it's not recognised and in the device manager it only shows under the Universal Serial Bus Controllers with the message 'Device Descriptor request failed'. When I run the Logitech gaming software ver. 5.10 as recommended
    in past forums (as this is the last known supported version of the driver) it cannot detect the steering wheel. I am assuming this is because Windows doesn't know what type of device this is at all, even in a generic fashion.

    Has Windows 10 stopped support and recognition of this steering wheel?
