  1. Connected school account to my home computer and now my windows is deactivated.

    Hi guys!

Recently, I've built my own computer, and I've bought and activated Windows 10 Home on it. However, when I logged in to Office 365 to my home computer with my school account use Microsoft words, my account apparently became "Deactivated". I can't key in my recently activated Windows 10 Home product key as the error code provided when I keyed it in the activation window was 0xc004f050. In the Activation tab, it says that my Windows edition was Windows 10 Education and it was not activated. The product key was different too. There was a yellow text stating "We can't activate Windows on this device as we can't connect to your organization's activation server. Make sure you're connected to your organization;s network and try again, If you continue having problems with activation, contact your organization's support person. Error code: 0x8007232B"

If there is anyway I can change my Windows back to my old, recently bought and activated Windows Home, do tell me how I can work my way around it.

    Thank you for your help!

    :)

Deactivated work or school account can't be removed

As you can see on the screenshot below, I'm signed in to two different Microsoft accounts on Windows 10. The first one is my personal account which I use for basically everything. The second one is my school account. I've signed in to the school account
because it came with a Microsoft Office license. Now let me explain my issue. I've graduated from said school last summer. My Microsoft account got deactivated by the school after I left. I did not sign out of this account on my pc as I didn't see any reason
to. Now the account is still linked to my pc, but I've long been signed out. From time to time I get a notification telling me that there's a problem with my work or school account. When I click on it, it opens the custom sign-in page of my school (in place
of the Microsoft one) in a separate window. This is completely useless since my account has been disabled, deactivated or probably deleted. When clicking on the 'manage' button you see on the screenshot, I get redirected to the sign-in page for a Microsoft
account on which I could then enter my school- email and get in turn redirected to the school's sign-in page. Anyhow, the gist of it all is that I can not sign in to my account and I can not find a way to remove it from my pc without signing in and probably
removing my pc online. It's not a big issue, but I still find it frustrating. Windows should be able to realize what the issue with the account is. It's treating it like a possible password change or another change of security settings. All the while my account
is inactive and none retrievable. Maybe I am missing something and it is, in fact, possible to remove the account locally. Whether or not, I'd appreciate any help.

Connected school account to my home computer and now my windows is deactivated.

Strange Windows 10 User Account issue.

Unfortunately I had done those steps numerous reboots, it just, reappears for no good reason. The base account isn't even a Microsoft account, it's a local account.

I haven't quite tried the built in administrator account on W10, but so far in my experience on my own computer, the built in account seemed to have absolutely no more control than I did on my own.

It's just strange, I go in, it warns me twice about deleting the account, then it's gone. Reboot, and it's back?

EDIT: Just to specify, both command line and Netplwiz both say only HIS account exists on the computer, it doesn't list this rogue account. This is what I meant in my first post about the fact that even Windows doesn't seem to believe it exists, HALF the time. *Frown Connected school account to my home computer and now my windows is deactivated. :(
