Windows 10: Heavy Data usage of Windows10

I bought a windows10 2020 july version. My computer is Dell intel core i5 8 th gen.


So my problem is my windows consume a lot of data , without microsoft team or anything else it uses 1 mb/ 1 or 2 sec . My daily 4 GB pack will be exhausted in 2 or 3 hours. I tried metered data connection , tried to solve the background apps, tried to set data limit, but nothing is changing . Its like computer is absorbing radio active particles. Windows 10 is good apart from data usage. My computer have admin controls which is my employer.if i am doing nothing else , the same situation prevails. I read many articles in this community but nothing worked. Plz help me how can i reduce data usage , i even tried task manager.

Open the Settings App (gear icon on your Start Menu)

Go to network and Internet

Choose Data Usage on the left, then click 'View Usage per App'

Is it System using all your data?

If so, in the Settings App, go to Home - Update and Security - Delivery Optimization

Turn that off, then click Advanced Options and pull all sliders to their minimum values

That is known to use a lot of data . . .

 

HEAVY DATA USAGE

I have had the same experience, after downloading Windows 10, I am eating data constantly.

With only my data usage web page open, you can literally see it run though data non-stop.

Just today it has used over 1GB of data and still running...?

What could possibly be using it so much?

It's breaking the bank, please can some one shed some light.

Seriously considering going back to Windows 8 if it keeps going on like this. My total usage just this week is getting on 10GB.

Crazy.
