Windows 10: Listening to online learning video

streaming on google or Edge.


Whilst viewing and listening to my online training course the sound suddenly went off, nothing happened that I am aware of. I've checked out audio video films and music discs are fine and working great, yet when i use either google or microsoft edge nothing can be heard. previously all was well


sound / scroll bars and speakers all work


i've also checked device manager to nothing seems to be wrong

1. Are you trying to arrange pictures from photo app?

2. What exactly you mean by " I can't make a new folder in either videos or photos"?

3. Are you trying to make folder for videos and photos?

If you want to arrange photos and videos in file explorer then I would suggest you to follow the below steps.

1. Right Click on Start button then click on the file explorer then click on pictures.

2. Under Pictures Click on view from menu bar.(on the Top center corner of screen).

3. Select "list".

Similarly you can arrange list view for Videos.

Listening audiobooks on Lumia 800 with WinPhone 7

I use to hear audiobooks on my Lumia 800 with WinPhone 7 so I’d like to find an app that:

• Allows to continue listening from the point it was previously stopped.
• Allows to reposition the listening back and forth in the piece.
• Shows the listening
  point in a size that does not require a
  magnifying glass to be seen.

Kindly suggest me some??

CORTANA IN LISTEN MODE

What is the edition of Windows 10 (Home, Education, Pro etc.)?

I understand you have issues with Cortana in the Listen mode. If you have Windows 10 PRO installed in the system, then I would suggest you to try the following steps to change some group policy settings.

    Press Windows key + R, type
    Gpedit.msc and hit ENTER.
    
  • 
    Go to Computer Configuration > Administrative Templates > Windows Components > Search
    
  • 
    Check for: 'Allow Cortana' and 'Do not allow web search'
    – Make sure they are ‘Not Configured’ or set ‘Allow Cortana’ to Enabled and ‘Do not allow web search’ to Disabled
    
  • 
    Open an elevated command prompt and run:
    gpupdate /force
    
  • 
    Go to Settings > Verify and correct: Time, Region and Language
    
    And, then go to Settings > Apps and Features > Manage optional features > Download Speech Recognition and Text-to-speech
    

NOTE: The troubleshooting steps are only applicable to
Windows 10 PRO.
