Windows 10: Security key login works, But why I can still login with my password

please answer my 2 questions


1. I just set up a security key to login my account and it works fine, But when I try to login with my password it's still can login without security key needed! I want my account accessible with my security key only not password anymore. How to do that ?




2. My security key has NFC, so I want to use the same key to login to my account via my phone app too by using NFC it's going to be like using USB security key insert to login via PC and NFC in the phone app. How to do that ?

You could either use REALM authentication or just by a webpage form and a db which stores the users login credentials


When you use REALM you will have a protected directory on the server, with a login by a webpage you have to "password protect" your pages

 

Password issue

After going through the steps to make a new password, after a week or two, my login credentials are no longer valid. I'm forced to make a new password all over again. It seems to happen if I don't login in a certain period of time. Does our passwords expire???
