Windows 10 Forced Restart after update causes massive loss in productivity...How to disable it?

    Hello,

I thought I had this feature disabled, but apparently I was wrong. The most recent windows update caused my computer to restart overnight, and I've lost 48 hours of rendering progress on an image for a client, torpedoing my project, which I will now lose. I'm not sure whose inane idea it was to force user's machines to auto restart without giving us an ability to turn that feature off...but does anyone know how to disable it?

Also, to whomever at Microsoft came up with that idea, I wish the worst for you and your family.

    :)

  2. February Windows 10 Update Causing Loss of USB and Blue Screens!

As posted over at Computer World, the February Windows 10 patch for the fall creators update to version 1709 is causing serious crashes and loss of USB.

When most everyone is using USB ports for their mouse and keyboard, this will render them inoperable.

Best case is to uninstall the Feb update:

  3. Windows 10 update being enabled.

Sounds like task scheduler forces it to restart, course in svc.msc i make sure to deselect it from restarting after it fails.
