  1. Disabling Event ID 1074 to show up at event viewer

    Hello Guys,

Good day, I have been working on something like disabling the 1074. I have already disabled it in the Group policy and even in the registries but the event still shows up in the event viewer. Although the pop up questionnaire is gone.

How do I disable the event id 1074 so that it doesn't show up in the event viewer or is that even possible?

    :)

  4. Disabling Event ID 1074 to show up at event viewer

    event id

hello i am using windows 7 ultimate and i want to know that the shutdown only shutdown event id like event log and user 32 (e.g winlogon.exe has initiated the shutdown and exolorer.exe has initiated the shutdown ) this event id are same for every windows
7 device? actually one day i was not at my home and my cousin used my pc and he has a very good habit to shutdown pc through the cpu button in pc case and he didn't answered me about the shutdown . to find that how he did the shutdown i checked the event log
and there was two event ids named user 32 id number-1074 and the description was winlogon.exe has initiated the shutdown and the other one is explorer.exe has initiated the shutdown . i dont know too much about this two id so i did a clean and proper shutdown
from the start menu in my pc and after restarting i saw this two event IDs again. but i dont want to do improper shutdown on my pc. so i did this on a pc of my college in which windows 7 pro has installed and after shutting down that pc from power button i
checked the event viewer and i saw only one user 32 1074 event id was there which was ( winlogon.exe has initiated the shutdown) and the user 32 1074 (explorer.exe has initiated the shutdown) was missed. so i thought that my pc was not shutdown from the power
button of pc case. because in saw both the user 32 1074 ids in event viewer and nothing was missing. if there was an improper shutdown happened then there has to be one user 32 event id. so i just want know that is this event ids are same for every windows
7 version with 64 bit architecture. because i don't want to do this experiment with my pc so i did this with the college pc so i just want to be sure that this event are give similar results in similar operations. i have no other way to check because shutting
down pc through power button was not listed in force or hard shutdown. otherwise i can check the view reliability history for that. because it can show hard shutdown by holding the power button for 5 or 6 seconds or power failure. but can't show the shutdown
through pressing the power button. and if you haeh any good method to check this type of shutdown history pls tell me. please help. i really want know the shutdown history of that day. i gave some photos of the event id which i have discussed
