  1. Multi-screen Display

    Hello,

I have a three screen set up: my laptop is 1, a desktop monitor is 2, and the projector I use is 3. I have 1 extended on 2 and duplicated on 3. Every time I turn off my laptop, monitor, and projector for the day I turn them off in reverse order: projector, monitor, and then laptop, the display settings are changed the next morning so that 1 is duplicated on 2, and it does not register my projector as a third screen initially. Is there any way to lock in the display settings when all three are connected? I have considered leaving all three on standby while I am away from the office, but I would rather not waste the electricity.

Thank you for any help you can provide!

    :)

    Hi William,

It is important that you have the correct screen display and resolution. We suggest that you perform the following steps to reset the monitor settings:

    • Boot your computer in
      safe mode
      .
    • Once in safe mode, right-click the desktop > Screen Resolution.
    • Change the display settings back to the original configuration.
    • Restart your computer.

Feel free to update us on the result.

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Hi,

To increase the display timeout, I suggest that you follow the steps below:

    • Select Desktop and click Personalization.
    • Select Lock Screen, then Click on Screen time out settings.
    • Change the required time in the drop down under Screen.

Let us know how it goes.
