Slow performance due to unknown reasons.

So, the issue started after Windows Feature Update 2004. My laptop which is only a month old began to lag and it was unable to open Office apps quickly and slowly the issue spread to not being able to multi task in Word and MS Teams simultaneously, unresponsive apps etc.

I had uninstalled the update, however the issue still seems to persist.

I have also disabled GPU acceleration in MS Teams as well.

Upon opening Task Manager, I noticed the high RAM consumption of McAfee which lead me to un-installing it. However, Windows Defender's Antimalware Service Executable consumes way more RAM than McAfee used to.

Regular defrags, disc cleanups and whatnot yielded no results.

Any help would be extremely appreciated :

    :)
