I built a new Windows machine last week after using a Mac for almost a decade, and one feature I really liked in macOS is its virtual desktop feature; swapping between panels quickly and easily is really nice when you're like me and desktop space is at a premium due to having tons of programs open. Windows 10 has a very similar feature, but I have an issue with it: Windows/Control/arrow left or right swaps virtual desktops, but sometimes I accidentally hit Windows/arrow left or right, which arbitrarily resizes my active window and I find that super annoying.

Unfortunately, every solution to disabling this feature I've found involves disabling the Windows key itself, and I need that for swapping virtual monitors. So, is there a way to either disable the individual Windows/arrow shortcuts, or be able to swap virtual monitors easily without using the Windows key? Either solution would be fine.

Windows 10 shortcut key not working - Please help

    Hey guys,

I'm trying to create a shortcut key for a program/script that turns off my monitor. I've confirmed that the small program is working by double clicking on it. The problem I'm having is that when I go to create a shortcut key for it. First I create a shortcut to the program, then I set a shortcut key, say "ctrl-shift-s". After applying the changes, clicking Ok, I try to use the shortcut by pressing the ctrl-shift-s key combination. When I do this, nothing happens. I've confirmed that shortcut keys works with other apps like the Command Prompt. Does anyone have any insight to this?

    Cheers,
