    All my win 10 language settings are for English, but I just got an email from MS in another...


    All my language settings in Windows 10 Home v. 2004 are for English and my region settings are for the United States although I physically reside in Thailand. So why did I get an update of the Microsoft service agreement in Thai with no header from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***? The only Thai setting I have under Time and Languages is as an added language.

    From some web searches it appears to be legit, not a phishing email, so it looks to me like the people at *** Email address is removed for privacy *** are sending emails based on Time Zone rather than language. I prefer not to change any of my settings just for very infrequent emails from *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. How do I get such emails in English?

    Microsoft no english language windows for you!

    After visiting the official Microsoft software download service and entering my Win 7 ultimate 64 product key I noticed out of the two dozen languages listed English version was missing! anyone else notice this?

    Wasn't an OEM copy though it was a promotional copy given to me for free. Anyhow don't you think it's odd that every language but English be on the list?!

    I was able to download the Hebrew version just fine. Not a big deal to add the English language pack using the Nlite app. Thing is there was a time you could download these iso's from digital river but MS shut that down so now all we have are Torrents which is shady if you ask me.

    Language settings set UK but spell check uses US

    Win 10 Home. ver 1909 build 18363.476

    I have language settings set to default English UK in the language section of settings - time and language.

    However when I type an email in Gmail it spell checks to US language e.g. colour suggests color.

    Is there another setting somewhere I have missed?
