Windows 10: Audio Sounds absolute CRAP after update.

I recently updated to the newest version of Windows 10 (1909). After using Chrome for around ~15 mins, the video I was watching suddenly started to sound muffled. I tried restarting all the drivers and my computer - that didn't solve the problem. It appears that this issue doesn't affect Groove, Edge, or any Microsoft built-in apps.

Anyone getting the same problem?

Edit: Have tried rolling back my drivers - worked for a bit then went back to being muffled. Have tried both Bluetooth and USB C audio outputs.

No sound Audio

This issue might occur if some of the sound settings got corrupted.

Method 1: I suggest you to run the Audio troubleshooter and check if it helps.

• Select the Hardware and Device
  options from the list.

Method 3: I suggest you to change the properties of Windows Audio services and check if it helps.

Method 4: I recommend you to install all the pending updates on your device and check if it helps.

• Try to install the updates being shown.
