    Weird rapidly scrolling blue/purple screen after update


    I installed the updates, and my computer (HP laptop) restarted. It booted back up to an odd screen consisting of rapidly scrolling green/blue and purple with what looks like a faint HP circle logo visible in the middle of the screen. I'm not sure what to try- CTRL ALT DEL does nothing. I just shut it down by pressing the power button for a few seconds, but I'm not sure what to do next.

    WD Purple or Blue?

    For 24/7 go with the Purple. I'd suggest going the Red, if your budget allows for it.
    Also look for specials, sometimes you can pick up a 3TB drive for the price of a 2TB.
