    intermittent Ethernet issues.


    I've been having intermittent issues with my ethernet cable for the last week or so for 5-30minutes it will go down once or twice a day at that time the WIFI still works so i have to switch to it. has anyone had a similar issue and would know how to fix it

    surface dock ethernet disconnects intermittently

    Hi This is my second Surface Dock (connected to Surface Book) The first one intermittently lost connection to my monitor. After many attempts to remedy I ended up solving the problem by replacing it.

    The replacement is working ok with my monitor but now the Ethernet disconnects intermittently. Hopefully I don't have another faulty dock. Any suggestions?

    Hi Guys,

    After updating from windows 8.1 to windows 10 my Ethernet adapter is intermittently dropping my connection. I have another machine exactly the same specs and it is not happening on the machine. The Ethernet adapter is a

    Has anyone experienced an issue like before? I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the driver makes no difference. It was working prior on windows 8.1 as well.

    Meanwhile, to isolate your concern, we suggest that you check the following:




    • If the Ethernet port is clean.

    • If the end of RJ45 (Ethernet cord) is still intact.

    • If available, test the RJ45 (Ethernet cord) to your other device and check if issue persists.
