    Now running a Windows 98 vhd file per Virtual PC on a Windows 7 system -- will it work with...


    I am NOT an expert in running virtual machines...but there is a very old Roxio EZ Creator program for which I have not found an equivalent for CD label creation. I have been running it via a Windows 98 virtual machine on a Windows 7 system and using Virtual PC.


    Since sooner or later this PC will die, and I will be replacing it with a Windows 10 Pro system, would the .vhd for the Windows 98 system run on Hyper-V?


    I really appreciate any feedback...I did not see a specific forum for Hyper-V, so please accept my apologies for any missteps...and thanks in advance!

    why not try to use virtual PC and emulate windows 98 on a XP machine or did someone already suggest that?

    What does it mean? *Confused Now running a Windows 98 vhd file per Virtual PC on a Windows 7 system -- will it work with... :confused: VHD is a hard drive of a virtual machine which (by default) can be opened by Microsoft Virtual PC
