I have a new computer and I am having trouble finding a driver for IBtUsb_Filter_00.
The Hardware ID doesn't have a value.

To see it, you go to the Device Manager > View > Show Hidden Devices. It is listed under "Other Devices".

My motherboard is a GIGABYTE X299X DESIGNARE 10G.

I have done a lot of searching, but haven't been able to find anything.
I have searched the GIGABYTE drivers site as well as the optical driver disc that came with the motherboard.
I have tried a few driver finder applications, but they didn't help.

One site I visited mentioned that it could be an Intel Bluetooth device, but Bluetooth is installed and working. Other sites point to it being an Intel Wi-Fi adapter.

I see that Lenovo has reported it on their support site and claiming it to be an Intel Wi-Fi adapter and that Intel won't remove it.

    IBtUsb_Filter_00

    Hi all.

I just finished building a new desktop computer and I am having trouble finding a driver for IBtUsb_Filter_00.
The Hardware ID doesn't have a value.

The motherboard is a GIGABYTE X299X DESIGNARE 10G.

I have done quite a bit of Googling, but haven't been able to find anything.
I have searched the GIGABYTE drivers site as well as the optical driver disc that came with it.
I have also installed GIGABYTE APP Center, but it didn't help either.
I have tried a few driver finder apps, but still without luck.

One site I visited mentioned that it could be a Bluetooth device, but Bluetooth is installed and working.
I have attached a couple of images.

    Any ideas about this?

    Thanks...

Driver Help for Windows - Hidden Other devices

    Hi xCONFLiCTiONx,

Got it, I understand. Now, I'm done checking your NFO file & confirmed that the driver status of those devices is below, and is perfectly normal.

    • IBtUsb_Filter_00 = driver cache means, Windows assigned a generic driver to your Bluetooth device.

    • SteelSeries PS/2 = phantom driver means, Windows temporarily hides drivers when not in use. For more info, here's an article below.

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/315539...

As long as your Bluetooth is working perfectly, then there's nothing to worry as your Windows is behaving as expected.

I hope I was able to provide some light on the matter. Thank you!

    Sincerely,

    Paul A.
