    My win10 did about a 2 hour upgrade a couple of day ago and since then I haven't been able to install any Canon photography software.

    So I'm trying to look in the windows logs to see if there's any help there.

    There does not seem to be an overall 'log of errors' that would catch any 'error' grade or 'warning' grade or similar and list them for you for further checking.

    So I'm face with an enormous list of logs and don't know where I should be looking.

    What I've gleaned so far is that Skype seems to be having problems so I'll uninstall it but that's about all.

    And another thing it did was break my 'keywallet' password 'wallet'. And I found an error which mentioned it so I guess there's a faint chance those faults may provide a clue as to what it's done that's breaking my canon installs.

    It did a couple of tiny upgrades since then, too, the way it does, you know... you go to shut down and it says 'updating and shutting down'. So how'd I go if I tried for a rollback, which I think we can do can't we? rollback to before the last upgrade? would I have to go back two or three? could I? should I?

  2. Edge Search Does Not Permit Change of Region


    I got these suggestions from the Microsoft Community forum.No. 1 worked for me:

    Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community. I am glad to assist you on this.
    We have reproduce the issue here and we are able to access non-regional search for google using Microsoft Edge.
    I would suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.
    Step 1:
    Clear browsing data option of Microsoft Edge and check if you face the issue. To do so perform the steps below.

    1. Click on the More actions icon next to the feedback icon present on top right corner of the Project Spartan homepage.
    2. Select Settings and click on Choose what to clear.
    3. Check the boxes Browsing history, Cookies and saved website data and Cached data and files and click on Clear.
    Step 2:
    I suggest you to create a new user account and check if the issue occurs.

    1. Go to Settings.
    2. Choose Accounts and then select Family and other users.
    3. Select add someone else on this PC.
    4. Enter a user name and hit next.
    5. Click on Finish.
    6. Sign out from the current Account and Log into the new account.
    Step 3:
    It could also happen because of network issue. I suggest you to try with different network connection and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to Run Microsoft Account Troubleshooter and check.

    Step 2: I would suggest run Windows Store Apps troubleshooter and check if the issue can be resolved.

    • Type Troubleshooting in the search next to start on the desktop.
    • Click on View All on left side and select Windows Store Apps.
    • Follow the onscreen instructions.
