Windows 10: Unwanted Windows 10 restarts

Windows 10 restarts if left unattended for an hour or so. I have checked everything I can find to restart/shutdown 'Never'. It's only been doing this for the last few months and it's getting more frequent and shorter time periods.

Ok, just ask and we will go step by step.

For temps monitoring, I like HWinfo. download and install (link was here before). At start it will ask you if running only sensors, check yes and run



Find Temps/ Core max and GPU, click them and graph will show.




You can show it in system tray too. follow like in the picture below

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
