Windows 10: convert free windows 10 on mac to activated windows 10 on mac

Hey there, I'm using a Mac and installed windows via bootstrap with a free version. I have a watermark on the bottom right of the screen saying "Activate Windows" that I'm trying to remove, but I'm having trouble activating windows. The settings section of windows just told me to get windows at the microsoft store, which didn't work. I went to the microsoft store, searched for windows, but it wouldn't come up. I assume I need to buy a license, does anyone know how to do this?

Data Recovery for Mac (OSX Capitan) ?

Anybody knows of a good data recovery software for mac? Preferably free?

I use Active@ Data Recovery for Windows, but honestly no idea what to use for Mac OSX.

Any suggestions?

 

Windows on Mac?

Yeah, it's apple's boot camp on their new Intel macs. When Macintosh moved everything to x86, they remembered that Windows runs on x86. And so after some crazy internet people won a contest to boot Windows on a Mac, Macintosh released the "Boot Camp" beta which is alot like the boot loader in Windows XP. Hence, if you buy Windows XP, download Boot Camp beta, and get all sorts of Windows software, you can dual boot XP and Mac and run your XP software on a Mac. That's just too expensive in my opinion...wait for Conroe *Stick Out Tongue .

 

Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
