Accented characters ALT + letter stop working randomly after some time in RemoteAPP

Windows 10 2004 connected to Windows 2016 Standard.

When connected via RemoteAPP accented characters ALT + letter stop working randomly after some time in RemoteAPP. Pressing CTRL + ALT + letter works as expected. Client has only one language installed. Server has 2 - English and Polish.

In order to bring back accented characters working, appliaction via RemoteAPP needs to be closed and reopened.

Is there anything that can be done to prevent this behavior when the application is used via RemoteAPP?

Currently application is used via regular full remote desktop connection and appears to work fine.

    :)

    Accented characters on E70

You can enter accented characters by using the Chr key in combination with the letter you want to put an accent on. By tapping the letter a few times you can cycle through the different available accents.

Although this is OK for the characters at the righthand part of the keyboard, I think it is rather difficult for the characters at the lefthand side of the keyboard.

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers,

  3. Windows 10 accent characters

Windows 10 works similarly; however, after pressing [ALT] button and the accent code numbers, you then have to press the keyboard key for that letter.

For example, I had to enter é in my email (Outlook 2016). I held [ALT] and pressed [0233] and then pressed the [e] button on my keyboard and I got the é.

For capital letters with accents, you have to press [SHIFT] and then the letter/character. For example, I wanted to type Á, so I held [ALT] and pressed [0193] and then pressed [SHIFT] and [a] to get Á.

    Hope that helps!

P.S. The [brackets] simply mean that they are buttons on the keyboard. You don't have to press the brackets before or after to get the results.

    Character Map

I often write letters on gmail to French friends and till now the characters I need - accents, cedillas etc - have worked perfectly.

For the last 3 days each time I hit the code for a letter, e.g. Alt+0224 for "a" with grave accent, the whole of my letter disappears. The same thing happens with 5 other special characters. I have checked with the Character Map and the codes I use are
    correct.

I tried writing on Microsoft's Word and the characters work OK so it's not my keyboard.

    Any ideas anyone?
