Windows 10: Solve Error 1328 when downloading Flight Simulator X SP1

Hello,

I just downloaded Microsoft Flight Simulator X, and when I was trying to install the SP1 package, it popped out "Error 1328.Error applying patch to file c:\windows\Installer\Config.msi\PT4FB6.tmp. It has probably been updated by other means, and can no longer be modified by this patch. For more information contact your patch vendor." during installation.

Can someone help me fix this error?

What is the make and model of your computer?

I suggest you to repair using the Repair for the Flight Simulator X installation.

To repair Flight Simulator X installation, follow these steps:

1. Insert the Flight Simulator X disc into your DVD drive.

2. Select Repair, and then click Next.

3. Follow the instructions to reinstall Flight Simulator X.
