    Hey everyone!

I have a little problem. My WIFI is 2,4 and 5 GhZ and my WIFI-Stick randomly connects to one of them.Sometimes it's 5GhZ and sometimes it's 2,4GhZ.

How can I set the WIFI-Stick to connect to 5GhZ all the time?I've been in "Network Adapters" to change the Properties to connect to 5GhZ only but I don't have such an option (see Screenshot)

I already tried to change "VHT 2,4G" but tbh I'm not even sure what it does. Still it randomly connects to one of the WIFI Bands.

Any other solution to force 5GhZ without setting up two different wifi connections in my router (one for 2,4G and one for 5G)?

    Edit:
    -Windows 10 Pro 20H2 (19042.508)
    -Realtek 8811CU WIFI Stick (802.11ac)

    5GHz Wifi

Hello. I want to connect to 5GHz wifi, but its not showing up in the connection list. I've done a bit of research and my laptop should be able to connect to the 5GHz band.

5ghz wifi not showing windows 10

I just got a new modem/router and it has a 2.4ghz and 5ghz wifi connections...Only the 2.4ghz shows in the wifi list while the 5ghz isn't showing at all. My computer's network card does support the 5ghz and I know the 5ghz is working because I can connect to it from other devices...just not my desktop computer.

EDIT: I've attempted updating network driver, also resetting network in the settings menu. Both hasn't worked.
