    I have a dell optiplex with i9-10900k. Dell is a disappointment in terms of support but I keep wonder if it is the doing of windows. I find myself with hyperthreading disabled. I can reenable it by entering bios and apply the change but the change does not persist after a shutdown. My work efficiency is down 20% with this feature disabled and I can't keep entering bios to change it. I can reboot without losing the hyperthreading but not a shutdown. How do I find out if windows is disabling hyperthreading or not?

    Can't disable Intel HT (HyperThreading) in BIOS!

    Anyway i have to try, i dont know what to do else... If you know how to disable it, please tell!

    Enable or Disable Hyperthreading for Security / Performance?

    Thanks. I just discovered my Dell laptop has no option to turn off hyperthreading so my query is academic unless the feature can be disabled by other means.

    Just Left Hyperthreading on myself, I paid for a processor with Turbo boost/Hyperthreading for a reason, i know for full protection they recommend disabling, but if it's a large performance hit, then i think i'll just take the risk with leaving it on
