  1. Please help me I'm going mad with the beeping sound

There is an annoying beep sound which happens at random times throughout the day when I'm using my laptop. I tried everything to stop it: switched all sound off on the laptop, tried running trouble shooter on speakers, ran support assist several times, tried Procmon which did not show any .wav files or any other ones I could relate to sound (I tried but I'm shit at programming or whatever), updated all drivers and stuff. Sound is constant no matter the volume even if its completely switched off and appers to only happen when I'm actively using the laptop. ITS SO ANNOYING I CAN'T WORK ANYMORE please help me.

  2. Disable beep sound when plugging/unplugging laptop charger

I would suggest you to follow the steps and check if it helps.

Disable the PC Speakers and check if it helps.

    • Right click on Sound Icon in the task bar and go to Playback devices.
    • Select Speaker and click on properties.
    • Go to Levels tab, and mute (or you can reduce it) PC Speaker and check if it helps.

  3. Nettop beeping in sleep mode

We appreciate you providing us those helpful answers.

In line with this, can you follow these steps on how to turn off the system beep sounds in Windows 10 and observe if the issue persists? Here are the steps:

    • Right-click the Start icon, then select Control Panel.
    • Choose the Large icons option from the View by drop down list found on the upper-right part of the Control Panel window.
    • Locate and choose Sound.
    • Go to the Sounds tab when the Sound wizard pops out.
    • Locate and click Default Beep.
    • Choose None from the Sounds drop-down list.
    • Click Apply, then OK.

Let us know if the issue persists after following the steps above.

    Thank you.
