Windows 10: Task Scheduler of Scheduled Scan Applied from SCCM disappeared

Hello Everyone,


We use SCCM to apply a Scheduled Scan full Scan for all clients on every Monday.

Previously, we can check the Scheduled Scan in Task Scheduler of clients, but on the recent days, this Scheduled task disappear from the Task Scheduler.

As I checked in Windows Event Log, this Scheduled Scan still ran, but we cannot see and modify it from the Task Scheduler anymore.


Could anyone teach me that MS have a new update that this Task is no longer available in Task Scheduler or it is moved to other location/policy/...?

Cannot schedule a task with Task Scheduler - error 2147942403

Hi,

I suggest you to check the below settings and check fi it helps.

• In task scheduler, click on the scheduled job properties > then settings.
• In the last listed option: "If the task is already running, the following rule applies:"
• Select "Stop the existing instance" from the drop down list.
• Save and Exit. Then check whether the task is running or not.

Issue with Task Scheduler

The task name sounds like a malware. Try running a full scan using Malwarebytes, and Junkware Removal Tool (www.malwarebytes.org). These tools will remove malicious
tasks added by malware.

And, if that doesn't remove the task, you can remove it manually using the steps listed in this article.
