Windows 10: Windows keeps on crashing

I've owned my PC for over 3 years but this issue has only started recently with my computer crashing after loading into windows almost every time. I thought it might be hardware but after booting into safe mode it works perfectly fine so something must've gone wrong in the system. Typically it would crash when I move a window or click on something, then the screen will freeze with only the cursor still under my control before bluescreening and shutting down. Sometimes there are also weird graphic glitches such as a random windows 7 empty window poping up after the screen freeze or all contents of my opened windows being a dark blank. The most recent glitch was my screen having a glitch pattern after freezing up, then returning to normal before actually crashing with the blue screen of death.

I really don't know whats messing up my PC so if you have any clue plz help me

I suggest you run rthdribl > http://www.daionet.gr.jp/~masa/archives/rthdribl_1_2.zip
Increase the window size step by step and watch your vga temps permanently.
What happens?
If it crashes, run at stock speeds as suggested before and retry.

P.S.: When your system locks, does the display signal turn off after a time?
Stuttering sound or no sound at all when freezing?
What X1800XT model do you own exactly?

all games crash!

ive watch my temps and both the cpu and gpu are within normal ranges. when it freezes it simply freezes the image and stops the sound. i must reboot to get back to windows.
