Windows 10: Windows 10 "Breaktime has been reached" error

Hey there!

There's a "problem" that keeps on occurring on my Windows 10 laptop. Every 5-10 minutes or somewhere around that an obtrusive, annoying error keeps on popping up with the following:





The title of the error is "SelfService.exe - EXCEPTION" and the body text is "Breakpoint A Breakpoint has been reached." just in case you can't see the picture for whatever reason.


Can anyone explain why this error keeps on popping up and what it means?

It annoys me when it pops up because the system focuses on the pop-up and I lose control of the rest of the desktop until I either click "OK" or click the desktop/window I was using.

This error even shows up as soon as I open the laptop in the lock screen.


Any help is tremendously appreciated, because I really want to get rid of this annoying pop-up!

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
