Windows 10: Need help quicktime thanks and godbless

Having a spot of trouble with my pc. Installed new win10 update and its just shitting the bed. Annoying me because i should be in bed. Anyway it will load up to login screen fine and let me log in fine but thats when the trouble starts. The screen is flickering white as it tries to restart and reboot endlessly on the homepage. I cant do anything, bar open up task manager, and im a bit of a bellend when it comes to computers so ill take all the help i can get. Ta xx

It's possible that the version of your Quicktime is not compatible with the version of your Windows 10. We suggest downloading a fresh copy of the installer of Quicktime and see if it helps. If you are looking for alternatives for Quicktime, we suggest that
you use Windows Store and look for applications that has the same function. It is also highly suggested to download the application that has the highest rating and reviews.

A Newer Version Of Quicktime Is Already Installed

Hi Noah,

Thank you for posting your query in Microsoft Community. I understand your concern and I am glad to assist you.

Please follow the steps and check if it works for you:

1. Go to C:\Program Files, and delete the entire QuickTime folder.

2. Search - All Files And Folders, select the hard drive (C to look in, type in QuickTime, then click Find/Search. when the list of files appear, right-click on and delete all the ones that you confirm are associated with QuickTime.

3. Click Start, type in REGEDIT, then click OK. Click the + in:

Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software

In the Software sub-menu, right-click directly on the Apple Computer entry, then scroll to QuickTime, right click and select Delete.

Note: If you click the + in the "Apple Computer entry, it will expand and you should see
"QuickTime" listed there

4. Exit regedit. It will save upon exit.
