    Hi

    I have a new system I designed myself. Windows 10, 2004.
    I been using Crucials Storage Executive since I got a Crucial M.2 SSD.

    Today the software said upgrade availible to 6.06, and a button to upgrade. (I have 6.05)
    The upgrade inside the software did ran its thing and reboot.

    Still 6.05 when I ran the software again.
    So,
    I uninstalled using RevuUninstaller and cleaned traces.
    I downloaded the latest version from Crucials homepage:
    Crucial Storage Executive Tool | Firmware Download | Crucial.com

    The zip file only contains 6.05. And the 6.06 got released in june? (date from crucial.com)

    Anyone else had this issue?

    But maybe more importantly, do I need this software? I used it to update firmware and test Momentum Cache. And just like other posts here about the software, no more speed on M.2 SSD is needed.

    I did not notice any difference in speed from a Civ 6 Benchmark, after I removed the software.
    Anyone who could enlighten me about this software, please?

    I listed the problem in the Crucial Forum... So, far, no response.

    I will update, if anymore info is provided.

    Crucial Storage Executive Report.

    I have had my SSD for about two years (rough guess) and was wondering if "202 Percentage Lifetime Remaining" 98% is about average or above average for the statistical report presented by Crucial? Meaning, after about two years of owning the SSD, 98% Lifetime remaining is pretty good right? According to Crucial, it only degraded about 1% per year.

    I'll post the full readout here and wish to get some feedback if anyone sees something in the report that might be excessive and the possible steps I could take if any are necessary to extend the life of the SSD.
