    Is there anyway to downgrade back down to windows xp? I am trying to build an anime themed pc for an anime themed room for a friend but windows 10 is the most disgustingly stripped down non customization garbage I've ever seen, its like Microsoft built it on a $100 budget. I cant customize the menus, folder backgrounds with photos, start menu icon, sounds, functions or anything. Id rather be charged with treason than use windows 10, its just horrible. So my question is...


    How can I downgrade back to windows xp or an actual customization OP so I can do what I have been paid to do, But I need one that will be safe for internet surfing as well. I will rewrite all the coding of windows 10 to mod and customize it blocking all future updates from microsoft if I have to but that will delay my job for possibly weeks to a month which wont be good, what can I do?

    Hello there, tom.
    I would try these:
    • Get your Windows 7 media device and reinstall Windows
    • Try auto-repair
    • Follow these steps:

    1. Put in your Windows 10 media device, boot into the USB
    2. Select your language and keyboard input, then click next.
    3. Click "Repair this computer"
    4. Go to "Advanced options"
    5. click system restore
    6. Select a restore point before you downgraded to Windows 7.
