Windows 10: Setting up a Word doc to look like a book showing two pages at a time.

Hello! Usually when I come here, it's for simpleton reasons - sorry! Now that I've gotten that out of the way, here's my question: How do I get my Word doc to have side-by-side pages like a book? As I don't mess around with my setup much, I don't recall how to get it back to how I want.

Please see attached of two pages, which are shown individually; I'd like them to show up side by side, as if one were looking at a book. Thank you!

WORD - thousands of grid blocks show up in my WORD docs.

Today, a grid is superimposed on my WORD docs. It's like a fence of 50 blocks across each row and at least 50 rows. They don't seen to affect any function in WORD except I have to look through a mesh fence to see any of my documents

I'd appreciate any suggestions on what to do to get rid of this.

many thanks for responding and trying to help me. the problem is that all of the docs in various folders that were word docs are no longer word docs - they only open on wordpad (and so parts of the docs cannot be seen). does anyone know why that would
happen?

I actually don't know if I have a current subscription to office.

Oppening Word doc from e-mail

Sounds frustrating ... I open, use, and create Word docs all the time on my Windows Phone and would be lost without this capability.

Sounds like the Word doc might have been corrupted. I would suggest a test by creating a simple Word document on a computer and then email it to your phone. If that works, then ask the sender of the previous Word doc to try resending it. If it fails again,
it would definitely be a corrupted doc (the desktop version of Office might be able to handle some corruption that the mobile version cannot).

At that point, I would suggest recreating the document that is causing the issue.
