Windows 10: Clicking the minimize icon CLOSES the site!

Clicking on the "minimize" button closes the site as opposed to making it smaller!

Programs closing when clicking on Minimize

When I click minimize no error appears it just closes like when I press the X button.

I did research and nothing came up about it so no I have not done any troubleshooting steps.

 

How to minimize the icons that appear when I right click any taskbar


I have pinned MS Word and Excel to my taskbar and when I right click either icon, the last used files are listed. On Win 7 there was a way of increasing the number of files showing on this list, if I remember well. Since I have 5 pinned files on top of the list, there is not much space left for showing other files unless I find a way of minimizing the icons on the list.

Changing the size of the title bars and icons can be accessed in Settings app. Kindly follow these steps:

• Open the Settings app.
• Click on System.
• Click on Display on the right pane.
• Under Scale and layout, look for Change the size of text, apps, and other items.
• Select your desired size by clicking the drop down box.
