  1. Total Identified Windows Installation 0 on My M.2 SSD

    Hello.

Several months ago I installed M.2 SSD ADATA XPG SX8200 Pro on my laptop, then installed windows 10 on it. It boots properly, but when I restart the laptop, it just stuck at the boot screen.

I performed startup repair, but it said,

“Startup Repair couldn’t repair your PC”

    Log file: C:\Windows\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt

After some research, I found “Total Identified Windows Installation: 0”. But it’s 1 if I set the hard drive as the primary drive I created the windows installation media from this hard drive.

I followed tutorials to fix from command prompt, but encountered some problems, like below.

    bootrec /fixboot

    Access is denied

    attrib c:\boot\bcd -h -r -s

    Path not found - c:\boot

At first I didn’t really care, but some other problems gradually appeared when I use windows from my M.2 SSD. I just performed clean install again, but it didn’t fix it. I wonder if the problem is on my SSD or what. Can anyone help me?

    :)

I set the SSD to inactive using the diskpart commands, and rebooted. I started another Getdataback scan, and this is what it looks like while running.

Edit: I'll also try Dalchina's suggestion and report what happens.

    PLEASE HELP!!

I have the same problem with the identified windows installations 0

And im following your steps and when i reach step 4 it tells me:

The store export operation has failed.

The requested system device cannot be found.

    What shall I do?!!!

After diskpart list I have only 1 desk which is the USB, and 1 volume and 1 partition!!!

    Hello,

These steps actually worked for me. Then I made the mistake to go back and type in the command prompt bootrec / fixmbr

    Bootrec / fixboot

And finally bootrec / scanos and find the same error message I had before. Total identified Windows installations:0

After this I tried the same steps that worked as you mention above, but I encounter while trying to rename the bcd as a duplicate file.name exists. Is there another name I could use?
