Windows 10: Windows 10 Upgrade failing through both Update tool and DVD

For the past three months off and on, I've been trying to upgrade to Windows 10 from both the media creation tool and off a burned DVD. BOTH lead to the error '0x8007001F - 0x20006: The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during REPLICATE_OC operation.'

The two 'big' solutions I've researched of running CMD/Command to 'Check disk' in administrative for corrupt files or with windows services off in a clean boot haven't worked. The CMD commands come back with zero results for any corrupted files to fix to begin with. Trying through here since the Support line with Microsoft staff leads to me being gaslit on what I've already tried.

When you finish testing the Avast suggestion, make sure that you restart your machine.

Then if the issue persists, please return to the trouble shooting list in post# 89

I think there are three steps that remain; the WU troubleshooter, reset WU components, and manual WU reset.

 

Windows Updates failed to instal

I just did step one and they have just all installed.... thank you so much.... it was quite frustrating having that update window pop up every 5 minutes and failing to instal every time
