  1. Help! Bridged Connection not showing/working.

So I have connected two mobile devices, via USB tethering, and a USB WiFi adapter to my PC. Now normally I'd go into the control panel, bridge the three and then go into the new bridged connection icon/device that appears in my control panel for any further details and tweaking.

After I had recently reinstalled Windows 10... this had changed for me. Whenever I try to bridge my connections it just tells me "No Internet" and the usual bridged connection icon/device is missing.

My Windows 10 is currently up to date if that helps.

And no, using the internet connection sharing option doesn't work either (I've tried it with all three of my connections).

Is there a possible fix to this? Thanks Reddit.

Network bridge suddenly stopped working in windows 10

    Hi Shantanu,

To isolate your concern, we would like to know how your network bridge is connected? Is it a wireless connection or a wired connection?

In the meantime, we suggest that you set up your network bridge to refresh the adapter and reconnect the other devices. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • Add Incoming Connections from the Internet.
    • Bridge the two network connections that you want to use.
    • Forget the internal network connection (under
      Manage Known Networks).
    • Reconnect to your bridge network.
    • Restart your computer and check if your concern persists.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

    Help! Bridged Connection not showing/working.

Bridge Connections (WiFi) no longer work with an unexpected error.

    Hi,

There are a lot of possible factors for the bridge connections to have an unexpected errors. To isolate this matter,
I have a couple of questions for you:

    • Were there any changes made before the issue occurred?

    • Have you tried updating your drivers manually?

    • What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

I recommend that you perform the troubleshooting steps indicated in the article entitled
    "Fix network connection
    issues in Windows 10"
    .

If the issue persists, reset your TCP/IP and see if there are any changes. It is possible that your TCP/IP were
corrupted. To do this, follow these steps:

    Reset TCP/IP

To do this, follow these steps:

    • Run
      Command Prompt
      as
      Administrator.

    • Run
      this command:

      • netsh
        int
        ip reset
        and hit
        Enter.

    Exit
    Command Prompt
    and
    monitor your network connection.

    Disable auto turn-off of
    WiFi device.

    • Go to
      Network and Sharing Center.

    • Click
      Change adapter settings
      on the right pane.

    • Right-click your
      connection name
      (WiFi name)
      and choose
      Properties.

    • Click on
      Configure...
      button.

    • Go to
      Power Management
      tab.

    • Uncheck/disable
      the check box radio for
"Allow this device to turn off this device to save power".

    • Restart the PC
      (Important).

    Reconfigure TCP/IP

To do this, follow these steps:

    • Run
      Command Prompt
      as
      Administrator.

    • Run
      these following commands:

      • netsh
        int
        tcp set heuristics
        disabled

      • netsh
        int
        tcp
        set global
        autotuninglevel=disabled

      • netsh
        int
        tcp set global
        rss=enabled

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.
